I am a 2nd grade teacher at Pleasant Grove.  This will be my 13th year of teaching and my ninth year teaching second grade.  I absolutely love teaching second grade and can’t wait to see what this year has in store! I have an adorable cocker spaniel named Lincoln.  In my free time I enjoy crafting and spending time with my family, especially my mom. I grew up in a small town in Virginia called Halifax.  I went to Halifax County High School and graduated from Longwood University in 2007.  A few of my favorite things are hummus and pita chips, Mexican food, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, sweet tea, and the color pink.
