Hello there fellow Flyers! My name is Mrs. Engelhaupt (Engel-how-p) and I have been working in education since 2010, all here in Wake County. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades and have been at Pleasant Grove since the school opened in 2016. I serve as Pleasant Grove's Instructional Facilitator (IF), Literacy Coach, School Improvement Chair and Testing Coordinator. In these roles, I have the opportunity to collaborate with teachers and assist them with any curriculum and professional development needs, lead and work with staff and families on the School Improvement Plan and manage all the school's testing.

I am a proud graduate of East Carolina University, GO PIRATES! I grew up in Georgia and still visit family there often. Not to turn my back on the Pirates, but my favorite college football team would have to be the Georgia Bulldogs, GO DAWGS! My husband and I currently live in Raleigh with our daughter Ella and our black lab named Duke. My husband is from Durham, so yes, our dog is named after the Duke Blue Devils, GO DUKE! As you can see, I love watching college sports and have many teams to cheer on! :)
