Ms. Mejeur

Hi Flyers! I am the Intervention Team Facilitator at Pleasant Grove and am looking forward to working with your children this school year. As the intervention teacher, I work with students, helping them strengthen their reading, math and behavior skills. I also help teachers plan and deliver academic and behavior interventions in their classrooms. I have worked in Wake County Public Schools since 2007, teaching 3rd and 4th grade at Baucom and Laurel Park Elementary before the opening of Pleasant Grove. My education was completed at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids Michigan, graduating with an Integrated Science Major and a Minor in Elementary Education. I have a Masters in Early Childhood and am also a National Board Certified teacher. Not being a North Carolina native, (Go BLUE!) I feel that I have lived in NC long enough to call it my home. My husband, son, two loving puppies, Moose and Milo, and I live in Durham.  Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, yoga, beach adventures and of course, reading. I am very excited to be teaching at Pleasant Grove Elementary and am even more excited to venture on this special journey of learning with your child.
