    Stress Management and Wellness Skills

If you would like to reconnect or learn new tips for stress management and wellness, please join us for the 2022-2023 school year. There are 19 virtual sessions scheduled for this school year, the first on Nov. 9.

The Community Resiliency Model® (CRM) is used to help individuals strengthen their resiliency through the promotion of living fully with compassion in the present moment while managing the activities of daily living. In these sessions participants will have the opportunity to experience and learn techniques that promote one's ability to read their physical reactions during stressful situations in order to bring the mind, body, and spirit into greater balance.

    Circle Connections

Learn more about one of the tools of Restorative Practices used in our schools, the Circle Process. The Circle is an organized group discussion that allows everyone to share openly when they feel comfortable. This often leads to improved behavior, increased accountability, and strengthening relationships. The Circle is a facilitated dialogue process that is invitational, meaning that no one is required to participate.

Contact Colleen Fitzpatrick at cfitzpatrick@wcpss.net with questions.

    Restorative Justice Book Study

Book of Restorative Justice by Howard Zehr. This short text invites us to explore the principles that began this movement and consider how we may apply them to our own lives. Together, we will explore these principles within the context of an educational setting.
