Today marks the end of the third quarter! Next week is spring break. Students will return to school on Tuesday, April 7th to begin the fourth quarter. We hope that you are able to enjoy the break and remember to have your student read during it!

April at Home STEM Challenge

In honor of Earth Day, students will design and build a flower or plant pot using recycled materials. You may read the directions here. Don’t forget to complete the write-up to bring in with your pot! Pots may start coming into the media center after spring break. All pots are due April 27th.

WES Student Council Service Project

The WES Student Council will be collecting goods for the Wake County Animal Shelter from April 8-22 for our Spring Service Project. Flyers and information will be sent home after Spring Break. Flyer

Parent Intent and Input for Classroom Assignments for 2026-2027

To assist with planning for next year, we are asking all families to complete this intent form for next year. If you would like to provide optional input for your child’s classroom environment for next school year, you must do so on this form. Responses which include teacher names will not be accepted. Classroom teacher input will also be considered. The deadline to complete this form and provide optional input is Friday, April 24th.
