ARISS (Amateur Radio on the International Space Station) was at RARSfest (Raleigh Amateur Radio Society Festival) in Raleigh on April 4th! This opportunity created a reconnecting moment with ARISS members who supported our contact, Frank Bauer, Executive Director of ARISS, and RARS members! During the ARISS presentation, Conn Magnet was showcased as “a model” for learning experiences for all students leading up to a direct radio contact, the actual direct contact, and after contact continuous learning.
