We are excited to celebrate the beginning of another great school year.

Please review these important reminders so we can work together to ensure student and staff safety during student arrival and departure this year. These guidelines apply to all families who utilize carpool as well as families of students who walk to and from school.

• Parking is not allowed on any street in Wendell Falls unless the street has painted or marked parking spaces. 

• Stopping in the roadway on streets adjacent to or near Lake Myra Elementary — including Elk Falls Drive and Future Islands Way — is a violation of Wendell ordinances, as this could back up traffic and/or prevent access to resident driveways. 

• Parents must follow established school procedures and utilize the carpool line to drop off and pick up their student(s) in a safe and responsible manner. 

• Review this map to ensure you follow the established carpool route.

• Town of Wendell police officers will continue to patrol the area every school day  to ensure a smooth flow of traffic in the morning and afternoon.
