Wiley Named a Magnet School of Distinction

Wiley was recently named a Magnet School of Distinction! We were one of 54 magnet schools in our district recognized by Magnet Schools of America with a National Merit Award. This honor is awarded to schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, integrated instruction, and the delivery of high-quality educational services. Schools are also recognized for promoting diversity and building strong family and community partnerships that support their magnet theme. Thank you to our Magnet Coordinator and each of our  teachers, students, and families for making this achievement possible. 🎉

Inclusive Preschool Open House – 2026–2027

Wiley Elementary is now accepting interest for its Inclusive Preschool Program for the 2026–2027 school year. Families are invited to attend our Open House on Friday, February 27 at 3:00 p.m. to learn more about this unique program. Wiley’s inclusive preschool supports language development for children with and without hearing impairments while fostering social skills through play and developmentally appropriate practices. The program follows Wiley’s traditional school schedule and offers five full days of preschool per week.

Applications will be accepted following the Open House until Friday, March 13 at 3:00 p.m. The program serves children ages 3–5 who do not meet the birthdate requirements for kindergarten this fall. Selected families will be notified on Friday, March 20 regarding our decision. We look forward to meeting you and sharing more about our inclusive preschool community!

Raise Craze is Coming Back for its Third Year!

We’re thrilled to announce that our spring fundraiser, Raise Craze, is returning on Monday, Mar. 9! Flyers with registration information will be coming home in Monday folders so keep an eye out.

We continue to choose Raise Craze instead of a Fun Run for two big reasons. First, it allows more funds to stay at Wiley. While 50% of donations go back to Fun Run, Raise Craze lets us keep 90%+ of the funds raised. Second, it aligns perfectly with the Wiley Way, inspiring students to give back to the community through Acts of Kindness (AOKs) while keeping classroom time uninterrupted.

We can’t wait to see our Wiley community come together again for this meaningful and impactful fundraiser. Thank you for your continued support!

Time is Running out to Sponsor Student and Staff T-shirts!

Raise Craze, Wiley PTA’s annual spring fundraiser, is almost here, and the deadline to become a business sponsor is quickly approaching. If you own a local business or have a connection to one, now is the time to get involved and show your support for our school.

Sponsorships help us provide Raise Craze t-shirts for every Wiley student, teacher, and staff member. In return, sponsors receive logo placement on the back of the shirts, keeping your business visible throughout our school community.

Don’t miss your chance: click here to view sponsorship tiers and secure your spot as a sponsor. Thank you for supporting Wiley PTA!

We Need Your Yearbook Photos

Fifth-grade families - send in a "throwback" photo of your student along with their name for a special feature! We’re also looking for any grade-level photos and pictures from events and classroom activities. Please send photos with students’ names and grade level to yearbook@wileypta.org.

Don’t forget to order your 2025–26 Wiley yearbook! Order online at Strawbridge Studios and enter code YB32963. All yearbooks will be delivered to your child’s classroom in June.

You can also make a difference by donating a yearbook through the Donate-A-Book option at checkout, helping ensure every 5th grade student receives one this year.

Grounds Volunteers Needed
Calling All High Schoolers: Help Wiley and Earn Service Hours

Do you have a high schooler or know one in need of service hours? Wiley PTA is launching a Junior Sustainability Committee this spring! We’re inviting high school students to help with grounds work at Wiley every weekend in April and early May, with two-hour volunteer shifts available. It’s a great way for older students to give back to their elementary roots—plus it helps keep our campus looking beautiful for our Wiley students!

Lost and Found Donation Day

Engraved Legacy Bricks line the walkway to the school's main entrance, reflecting decades of school history and capturing lasting memories.

For $150, you can leave a lasting mark with a personalized brick. Each brick allows for three lines of text, with up to 17 characters per line. To order, simply fill in the form below or email your desired text to wileyelementaryfoundation@gmail.com.

Payments can be made by check (payable to Wiley Elementary Foundation, Inc.) and delivered to the school office, or via PayPal at our donation page. Let's add the names of all our soon-to-be-graduates to this path to celebrate their achievements as they embark on new adventures while staying connected to their Wiley experience! If 30 families donate $20 each, we can commemorate the entire 5th-grade class on a set of bricks listing students' first names. This is also a great way for grandparents, relatives, and friends to congratulate a student. Your contribution will help support the foundation's mission and make a lasting impact on our community!
