Welcome to the second semester! I want to remind families about the LRHS Exam Exemption Policy for grades 9–12.

 

Key Eligibility Criteria:

• A projected final grade of B (80) or higher in the course
• 10 or fewer absences in the course (excused and unexcused absences count equally, including college visits)
• For grades 9–11, 10 or fewer tardies in the course
• Students cannot be exempt from state-mandated assessments (EOCs, CTE Post-Assessments, or field tests)

2/11: Rising 9th Grade - Open House 

Our Rising 9th Grade Open House will be on Wednesday, February 11th, from 6 pm to 8 pm. We are excited to showcase the vibrant opportunities awaiting your students at Leesville Road HS. We believe this event will empower students and families to make informed decisions about their academic and extracurricular pursuits as they prepare to embark on high school. We are excited to welcome the Class of 2030 to Leesville!

 

Class of 2026  - Senior Cap and Gown Photos

Last call to schedule your Senior Cap and Gown portraits!

These photos are a special tradition to commemorate your hard work and achievements as you prepare for graduation. The session will be held on 2/13/26 in the Media Center.

 

Please note: These specific sessions are for your personal keepsakes and milestone celebrations; they are not the portraits included in the official school yearbook.

• Sign-Up: Please schedule your session as soon as possible to secure your preferred time slot. Sign up link
• What to Wear: Lifetouch will provide the cap and gown for your session. For the best look under the gown, we recommend wearing a plain white or black t-shirt (crew neck or V-neck).

Stunt: 

February 17, 3:00-5:30 in MPR

Softball 

February -16,17,18-4 pm -6 pm. At the softball field. Gates open at 3:45, tryouts start promptly at 4. Bring cleats and gym shoes.

All Student-Athletes interested in participating in spring sports must be cleared in Dragonfly to participate in Tryouts.
