Happy Sunday, Pride Families,

 

Congratulations to the Capital Pride Chorus for their outstanding performance last week! The group achieved a superior rating, which is the highest possible score. Additionally, they received a superior rating in Sight Reading, where they performed solfege and rhythm, scoring an impressive 99 out of 100 points. We are very proud of their accomplishments!

 

Congratulations to the eight members of Leesville's Theatre Department who competed at the State ThesFest at ECU last weekend. They represented Troupe 5540 of the International Thespian Society exceptionally well! Five students received Superior ratings and are eligible to advance to the International Thespian Festival this summer. Bravo to Eleanor Dalton, Ava Elrod, Chelsea Schpero, Holland Simpson, Lucas Casterline, Abigail Coughlin, Ragine Griffin, and Hannah Holder!

• Spring Break is from March 30 to April 3, 2026.
• Monday, April 6, 2026, is a Teacher Workday-no school for students.

Looking to help a student with basic essentials? The district has approved the use of Purposity, an app where our SAP counselor posts real, tangible needs for our students experiencing homelessness and family crises. LRHS Pride Athletic Club (PAC) Announcements

The pathway to Pride Brick Campaign is ongoing, and orders are being accepted until March 30, 2026.

Description: Personalized brick for any student or alumni to be placed within the walkway leading to the stadium entrance. Bricks can be personalized with text and up to three (3) emblems of your choice. Cost ranges from $95 to $140. ALL students are eligible!
