Kudos to our Latin Students—Last month, over 100,000 students from all 50 states and the District of Columbia, as well as 26 other countries, including Armenia, Australia, Belgium, Belize, Brazil, Canada, China, Greece, Guernsey, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Korea, Mexico, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom participated in the 2026 National Latin Exam. We are proud to announce that eight of the nine Leesville students who took the exam won national awards for beginning levels through Advanced Latin Prose:

Prom 2026: Final Reminders & Last Chance Tickets

Prom is almost here! Join us on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 7:00–11:00 pm at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley for an unforgettable evening themed "A Night in New York."

A limited flash sale for the remaining tickets will open on Monday at 12:01 am and close on Tuesday at 11:59 am on SchoolCash Online. This is the final opportunity to purchase prom tickets—no exceptions.

Important Reminders:

• All LRHS juniors and seniors attending prom must complete the Code of Conduct (bit.ly/LRHSprom26).
• Students and guests must present a valid ID for entry to the prom. 
• Students missing required prom documents received an email from Ms. Worthey to rectify their missing documents; if they do not, they will not be admitted to prom.

Panorama Family Survey

Wake County Public School System is administering a District-Wide Family Survey through Friday, May 15. This survey provides families the opportunity to provide valuable information and a high-quality data source for planning and School Improvement. The survey has been translated into various languages: Spanish, Arabic, French, Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese in an effort to provide accessibility to families in the Wake County Public School System. Families can choose the language of the survey administration before taking the survey.
