Kudos to our LRHS dancers for showcasing a range of talent during their spring performance last week. Each dancer demonstrated skill, coordination, and joy throughout their routines. Thank you for two fantastic shows. Shout out to our Dance teacher, Mrs. S. Carr.

 

Theatre Ensemble presents a modern adaptation of Sophocles' Antigone this week.

  • Wednesday, 5/27, at 3:30pm
  • Thursday, 5/28, at 6:30pm

After the sons of Oedipus die in a civil war, King Creon forbids the burial of Polyneices. His sister Antigone defies the order to honor divine law, setting off a chain of tragic consequences rooted in pride and power.

The performance in the Black Box runs for 2 hours, with a 10-minute intermission, and is rated PG-13 for mature themes and some language.

All ordered senior signs are available for pick up in the front office.  Don't forget to sign when you pick up and take a yard stake.

 

LRHS Sports News

Thank you, Coach Frazier, for sharing the sports schedules/information each week. This is the final one for the 2025-2026 school year.

Congratulations to the Leesville Baseball team and Coach Cooper on an outstanding season, finishing as 8A Eastern Regional Runner-Up.

Congratulations to Leesville Women’s Soccer on a tremendous season and Elite 8 appearance.

Leesville Road Athletics is proud to announce that we have been named the 2025–26 CAP 8 Wells Fargo Cup Champion for the second time in three years. We extend our congratulations to our coaches, athletic trainers, and student-athletes for their hard work and dedication in achieving this honor. Great job, everyone!
