Weekly Message 2/13/26

It was great to finally have a full week of school with no delays or cancellations!  Remember that Monday, February 16 is a regular school day and it is a full day.  This is a makeup day from the snow days that we had.

Also, Friday, February 20 is the 100th day of school.  We want to encourage 100% attendance every day, but especially on the 100th day of school!

On Thursday, February 19, all third, fourth, and fifth grade students will take the Reading Check-in Assessment.  This assessment is an EOG style assessment and will provide data on where students currently are with reading.   They will have access to their results and teachers will use the results to guide their instruction and provide additional support to your child.  Please encourage your child to do their best on this assessment and reach out to your teacher with any questions.

We would also like to invite all families to our Black History Night event on Thursday from 5:30 - 7:00 PM.  We will have a chorus performance, assembly, and student presentations on display.  Food trucks will also be available to purchase food.

Finally, remember that Spring Pictures are coming up on Thursday, February 26.  Flyers were sent home this week.  Reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions.   Thank you for your support and we will see our Timberwolves back on Monday!
