Teacher-Ms. Marisa Corcoran is an outstanding teacher who goes the extra mile for her students.  In addition to this honor, she was recently named the History Teacher of the Year by the Committee for the Sons of the American Revolution. Ms. Corcoran was selected as the chapter-level award recipient in the state competition for the Dr. Tom & Betty Lawrence Teacher of the Year Award. She will receive formal recognition at a meeting of the Halifax Resolves Chapter in March, and she now advances to the state-level competition as the next step. She also serves as the Volleyball Coach at EWHS.
