Hello AFES Families,

I hope you all enjoyed the break and were able to relax and spend quality time with family. We are looking forward to a fun month ahead!

This Wednesday, we will have a schoolwide assembly sponsored by our PTA. Due to the adjusted schedule, our lunch times will shift, and we will not be able to accommodate lunch guests on Wednesday, December 3rd. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

This is the season for spreading joy and germs! We have seen an increase in students coming to school with signs of illness. 

WCPSS advises that students should stay home when experiencing symptoms that could indicate illness or a communicable disease, including:

• Fever of 100.4 °F (or higher) or chills. 

• Vomiting or nausea. 

• Diarrhea.

• Undiagnosed rash.

• Red, watery eyes with yellow discharge.

• Sore throat, significant fatigue, or a change in typical medical status.
