ELC Teacher of the Year 2025-2026-Ms. Serena Reddick-Lofton

The Early Learning Center at Memory Road proudly celebrates Mrs. Serena Reddick-Lofton as our Teacher of the Year!

Mrs. Reddick-Lofton has been a dedicated preschool educator for 20-plus years, bringing warmth, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to the success of every child she teaches. A proud graduate of the University of Mount Olive, she went on to earn her Birth–Kindergarten Licensure from North Carolina Central University and is currently pursuing her graduate degree at Shaw University, a true testament to her belief in lifelong learning.

Before becoming an educator, Mrs. Reddick-Lofton honorably served ten years in the United States Army, where she developed the discipline, perseverance, and leadership that now shine through in her classroom. Inspired by her own Head Start teacher, she discovered her passion for early childhood education and has devoted her career to nurturing the minds and hearts of young learners.

At the ELC, Mrs. Reddick-Lofton creates a community of learners that fosters curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth. She strives to meet each child where they are, providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where every student feels valued and supported. Her deep commitment to collaboration, family partnerships, and professional excellence embodies the spirit and mission of the Early Learning Center.

We are honored to recognize Mrs. Serena Reddick-Lofton for her remarkable service, compassion, and leadership as our 2025 Teacher of the Year.
