UPDATED NEW CAMPUS INFORMATION
New School Phone Number: The new campus main office phone number is 919-694-8622. If you have students on the WTCC campus, please use the number we’ve always used (919-335-1350).
NEW! How will carpool work at the new campus? Here is a video that shows the route for carpool.
How will bus transportation work? All buses, including the one to Green Hope High School, will serve both campuses with a slightly adjusted pick-up time in the mornings. Please consult Infinite Campus for specific pick-up and drop-off times for your assigned bus. Questions? Contact Ms. Miranda (gmiranda@wcpss.net).
What about 5th period students on the new campus? These students will get on a yellow school bus on Tuesdays and Thursdays (front of school where carpool drops off) and this bus will take them to the WTCC campus for 5th period. Parents will pick up at the WTCC campus at 3:30.

INFORMATION FOR ALL FAMILIES
Report Cards: Students on the WTCC campus received report cards on Friday (Jan. 9). Students on the new campus will receive them on Monday during 4th period (Jan. 12).
Meet the Teacher Open House: We are hosting open houses on both campuses on Thursday, January 15 at 6 PM. There will be a family Meet and Greet for parents on the MHS campus at 5:30. Here is the tentative agenda for the event. Note that there are separate agendas for each campus.

Information on Weather-Related School Delays and Cancellations (Updated Information): If winter weather affects our area, our school will follow any delays or cancellations announced by Wake County Public Schools (WCPSS). Wake Tech may occasionally make a different decision, but our families should follow the WCPSS schedule. The district may call for a complete cancellation of school or for a remote learning day. Please see this letter for information about remote learning days.
Driver’s Education Classes for Spring 2026: Spring 2026 Registration for Driver's Ed opens on January 14 at 1:30 PM. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the class is full, the registration window will close for all students. All registration is managed by Jordan Driving School. To prepare:

Food Finder Resource: Families can use the Wake County Food Finder to locate pantries and distribution sites nearby. The site also lists community meal programs and other food assistance opportunities available throughout the county.

Annual Testing Calendar: We have created a comprehensive testing calendar for the year. This includes Pre-ACT/PSAT/ACT, Workkeys, EOCs, AP Exams, college final exams and high school final exams. Please add these dates to your calendar as appropriate for the grade level of your student.
Comprehensive Permission Forms: To help streamline the permissions process, we are using one Comprehensive Permission Form to collect consent for multiple student privileges this school year. This includes:

Parking on Wake Tech’s campus (students with permission to drive to school last year do not need to resubmit paperwork).

Off-campus lunch (11th and 12th grade only and are due by Friday, August 29 for this semester; $10 online fee required and must be paid via School Cash Online (link here)

You can pick and choose which permissions to authorize and which to decline. The form must be completed, signed by both the parent/guardian and student, and either notarized or signed in person at the main office. Please complete and return the form as soon as possible if your student will be participating in any of these activities. Afternoon Carpool Pickup (WTCC Campus): Unless students are in a supervised after school activity (e.g., 5th Period), students should be picked up by 2:30. Students are not allowed to hang out on campus unless under the direct supervision of a teacher for an after-school activity.

Carpool students needing pick-up after 2:30: Students are allowed to walk off campus to the adjacent shopping center (with coffee shops) with parental permission. Use this form to give permission. Please note that the form should be signed by both student and one parent in the presence of an office staff member. Come to the front office for assistance. If this is not possible, the form should be notarized.

Public Transportation: Some students utilize public transportation (e.g., Morrisville Shuttle), which picks up on campus. Students must wait for the shuttle at the designated bus stop. Pick up times vary in the afternoon and on occasion, it picks up a few minutes before our dismissal. If you would like to authorize your student to take advantage of a pick-up before the end of the school day, please complete this form and we will keep it on file. The student just needs to check out in the office before leaving. Please note that the form should be signed by both student and one parent in the presence of an office staff member. Come to the front office for assistance. If this is not possible, the form should be notarized.
Athletic Tryouts at Green Hope High School: Please see this link for specific details regarding athletic tryouts. Wake Tech Warn: Wake Tech WARN is the official emergency alert system of Wake Technical Community College and is used to distribute critical emergency information. In the event of an emergency or inclement weather situation, Wake Tech WARN allows the college to notify students, staff, and registered community members. Parents should go to this link to register for alerts. If you have registered for this previously, you do not need to register again.
