Greetings Dolphin Families,
Fall Picture Retake Day: Students who were absent or were not satisfied with their first picture will have an opportunity to have their picture taken on Tuesday, 10/28.
Academic & Principal Breakfast: Students who earned As & Bs and all As will be recognized at an Academic Breakfast on Friday, 10/31.
Halloween is coming: As we celebrate the season, please remember that costumes, masks, and Halloween makeup are not allowed at school on Halloween. Students are welcome to show holiday spirit by wearing orange and black. Let’s keep the day fun, safe, and focused on learning!
NC State Fair Celebration: Our school earned 8th place at the North Carolina State Fair in the Middle School Division, competing against 41 Middles Schools from across the entire state Six incredible pieces of student artwork represented DRMS, showcasing the creativity, talent, and hard work of our students. We are so proud of our young artists for bringing the DRMS spirit to the state level. Way to go, Bella B, Kayla D, Raegan C, Mary O, Kasheena M and Victor B. We are so proud of your work!
Choice School applications are now open: Do you have a neighbor not attending DRMS? Invite them to come check us out. We are a great year-round option! Enrollment applications for magnet, year-round, and early college schools are now open. Visit the WCPSS website to learn about program options and eligibility. The application window closes on Dec. 12 for early colleges and Jan. 22 for magnet and year-round schools. Learn more
