Special thank you to you all for all that you have done during the month of March. It’s been one busy season, and we appreciate all of you more than you know for being the best partners in education for your children!
Literacy Celebrations: All families are invited to Wakelon on Wednesday, March 25, for our Literacy Celebrations. All Kindergarten-fifth-grade students will present their Quarter 3 Literacy Projects to their families. Presentations will be at the following times:
K- 1:00 pm
1st- 12:15 pm
2nd-9:45 am
3rd-11:45 am
4th- 10:30 am
5th-2:00 pm
Field Day: Students will participate in field day activities on Friday, March 27th.
March Character Celebration: We will have our March Character Celebration on Friday, March 27th. Please join us at 9:30 in our school’s Media Center to celebrate your student’s good character. If your student was selected for good character during March, their teacher will provide you with an invitation.
Spring Break: Spring Break is around the corner. Students' vacation days are March 30–April 6. We will see all students back in school on April 7th. Enjoy and be safe!
Wakelon Yearbook (25-26): LAST Call… Yearbooks are now on sale for preorder. If you would like to purchase a yearbook, please use the following link: https://strawbridge.fotomerchanthv.com/search/YB34406. Yearbook presales will end on Friday, March 27, 2026.

Rescheduled Picture Day: Our spring picture date has hit a snag with Lifetouch’s schedule. We are pushing Individual and Group photos back from March 10 to Thursday, April 16.
Arts to Remember Fundraiser: Hello Wakelon Families! It's time for our annual Art to Remember Fundraiser! The students have been hard at work creating their best artwork for this fundraiser. This fundraiser helps us purchase much needed art supplies for Wakelon's art program. In a few weeks, you will receive more information on how to order different products with your child's artwork on it. These make great Mother's Day and Father's Day gifts or for any loved one. Thank you so much for your support in this fundraiser!
