This is Principal Nealy with our Wakelon Weekly Updates!  

No School Tomorrow: Please remember that tomorrow (5/1/26) is a regular Teacher Workday for our Wakelon students.  Tomorrow is NOT a Remote Learning day.  Please enjoy this additional time with your children. 

Teacher Appreciation Week: We can’t wait to celebrate our amazing teachers. Please view this flyer so that you and your child can join us in the Appreciations. 

Panorama Survey:  Parents: We want to hear your voice! We have until May 15 to hear your voice on creating and strengthening partnerships with Wakelon families. Please use this link to fill out the online survey. We would love to hear from you!

Student Dress Code: Parents, now that the weather is getting warmer, we ask that you please keep in mind the WCPSS Student Dress Code.  This policy can be found on the WCPSS home page.  

Kindergarten Orientation: If you have a rising kindergarten student, please be sure to come out and join us on May 18th from 5:00-6:00 pm.  At this time, you will learn all about kindergarten requirements and expectations, meet all of the kindergarten teachers, the counselor, assistant principals, and Principal Nealy. Staff Appreciation Week: Staff Appreciation Week is the week of May 4th-May 8th.  We are asking families to please consider donating snacks to our Appreciation Snack Bar that will take place on Wednesday, May 6th.  Please use this link to sign up for an item to share.
