Hello Wakelon Families! This is Principal Nealy with our school updates. 

As we approach our final week of the school year, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible partnership, support, and dedication to the Wakelon community. Next week will be filled with celebration and joy as we wrap up a wonderful year of growth and learning together. Thank you for sharing your amazing children with us this year, and we look forward to finishing the week strong! 

Free, healthy meals are available throughout Wake County this summer for children 18 and under. No application or sign-up is needed. Call 1-866-3-HUNGRY (1-866-348-6479) or 1-877-8-HAMBRE (1-877-842-6273) (Spanish) for locations. 

Last Day of School: Our last day of school is Thursday, June 11th.  We will give all students their report cards on this day.  We will not give out report cards before this date.  If you plan not to send your student to school on the last day, please make plans to come and retrieve their report cards during the summer office hours. 

End-of-Year Awards and Recognitions: We are excited to announce our End-of-Year Award Recognition Schedule.  We are looking forward to celebrating the achievements and academic growth of our students.  Please see the dates and times below.
