Otter Splash for the Weeks of August 31-September 13

It has been a busy and exciting two weeks! Just a reminder that there is no school on Monday, September 1st, due to the Labor Day Holiday. Thank you to our Tracks 3 and 4 families who attended curriculum night. We hope you found the information valuable and enjoyed learning about your child’s classroom and curriculum.
Our Tracks 3 and 4 Otters participated in the Big Splash Fundraiser, and thanks to their hard work and your incredible generosity, they earned all of their rewards—from chalk and chew to staff wearing inflatables and extra recess. Students had a blast during the Splash and Dash obstacle course and cooled off with popsicles. We are thrilled to share that Track 3 and 4 families and friends have raised over $18,000—what an amazing start! In total, we have raised over $40,000.00! Thank you again for your support and generous donations!

Picture Day Heroes
Lifetouch Studios is seeking volunteers to assist them during our upcoming fall picture sessions. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up using THIS LINK. 🏫Back-to-School Fair and School Health Assessment Clinic Sept. 13
The UNC Mobile Health Clinic will provide no-cost school health assessments and vaccinations, along with other health and community resources, on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Roberts Park, 1300 E. Martin St., Raleigh. There will be food, music, and family-friendly activities. Please share this information with your school communities. Attendees should register in advance.
Our school cafés are proud to serve tasty, nourishing meals that fuel learning every day! Families can find menus, nutrition details, payment options, and information about meal benefits on our website.

-Reflections is a theme-based art contest where students can compete in different art categories based on their interpretation of the theme! This year's theme is "I Belong".

-Student winners will move up through their council, district, and state Reflections programs, and will have the chance to win scholarship money and other awards!

-Submissions are due October 17th.

-Submissions will be on display and winners will be celebrated at our Art Night on December 5th!
