Hello, Rolesville MS Families,

This is Ms. Cooper with a weekly update  If you have any questions, concerns, or compliments, please feel free to reach out to me.  I want to hear them all!

 

• Sneakerball Dance:  Our NJHS is sponsoring a Sneakerball dance on Friday, February 20, from 3:45-5:45. Students may remain after school.  Tickets will be sold for $5.00 during lunch Monday through Thursday.  Concessions will be sold during the dance as well.

 

• EOY Events Dates:  Please see our EOY Events Schedule and mark your calendars!

 

• Parents of rising 7^th and 8^th graders: Beginning the week of March 10th, counselors will be coming to classes to share information with students regarding elective registration for the 2026-27 school year.  At this time, students will be given a course form to complete.  Forms will be collected by the counselors so that the information can be input into Infinite Campus and so that math and other recommendations can be added to the form as well.  Finalized forms will go home to parents.

• Yearbooks: Yearbook Flyers are going home this week.  All yearbooks will be purchased online using the following link (strawbridge.fotomerchanthv.com/search/YB32445).  Yearbooks will be purchasable until March 15^th and cost $21.00.  

 

• Athletics: Thank you to everyone who came out this season to support our basketball teams and cheerleaders!

 

Registration for spring sports (Boys' Soccer, Track and Field, and Softball) has been extended to Wednesday 2/18 for students. If your child plans to register, please ensure that you have uploaded all of their forms to DragonFly. Full instructions for registration are found on the Athletics Registration page. Spring tryouts begin February 23rd, tryout information will be sent to families of students who are cleared this week.

 

Softball workouts will be held this week on Wednesday from 3:15-5:00pm. Any 6th-8th grader who wants to participate must have a physical on file with Mr. Robison or on DragonFly and must also complete this permission form.

 

• Whom to Call: Please refer to this document when reaching out to the school regarding your student.  25-26 Whom to Call Document
• Carpool: Carpool families, in the mornings students must remain in the vehicle with you until 7:45. We do not have supervision prior to this time.  Students cannot be left outside without proper supervision.  If this time is not convenient for you, please register for bus transportation. Thank you for anticipated cooperation.
• Parent Engagement Survey: The RMS Family Engagement Committee is seeking input from families to strengthen connections between home and school. Our goal is to identify the best ways to communicate with families and provide meaningful support to help them engage in their students’ learning at home. Parent Engagement Survey

• Sign-ups are from Sunday to Saturday, with the weekend before to paint.   Select your week below to reserve the Rock!
• You are responsible for providing the paint and painting the rock.

• Baile de Sneakerball: Nuestra escuela secundaria NJHS patrocina un baile de Sneakerball el viernes 20 de febrero de 3:45 a 5:45. Los estudiantes pueden quedarse después de clases. • Atletismo: ¡Gracias a todos los que vinieron esta temporada para apoyar a nuestros equipos de baloncesto y porristas!

 

La inscripción para los deportes de primavera (fútbol masculino, atletismo y sóftbol) se ha extendido hasta el miércoles 18 de febrero para los estudiantes. Si su hijo planea inscribirse, asegúrese de haber subido todos sus formularios a DragonFly. Las instrucciones completas para la inscripción se encuentran en la página de Inscripción de Atletismo. Las pruebas de primavera comienzan el 23 de febrero. La información sobre las pruebas se enviará a las familias de los estudiantes que hayan sido aprobados esta semana.
