Parents,

Our school experienced a brief Code Yellow lockdown event today, and is now under Code Green. First, know that all students are safe. 

To keep you informed, I would like to provide you with more detail about this incident. 

Schools enter a Code Yellow Lockdown if there is something in the community that may pose a threat to the school, but there is no imminent threat to the school. We entered Code Yellow due to police activity in the area at approximately 8:52 a.m and returned to normal operations under Code Green at 9:00 a.m.

Thank you to our law enforcement and our security team for their swift response. We understand that lockdowns are stressful for students, staff and families, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation.
