Track Change Requests
Each year, things may present themselves where your family needs to consider your child being on a different track from their current track. If you need to request a track change, please do so by completing THIS FORM. Paper copies of the track change form were also sent home in Monday folders if you prefer to complete it and return it to school. Please reach out to our data manager Mary Canny at mcanny@wcpss.net or 919.562.6000 with any questions. No track change requests will be accepted after 3/6/2026. All requests will be reviewed when we begin creating classes for next year and families will be notified of whether or not their request is approved.
Classroom Environments for 2026-2027
We are beginning to think ahead to class assignments for the 2026-2027 school year. Parents are invited to submit a letter describing the classroom environment that is best for your child. Please DO NOT use teacher names as there may be movement among our staff. All letters are due to Mrs. Harmon by March 6th. You may email (aharmon@wcpss.net) or drop it off in the office.
Wellness Newsletter
Please take some time to read the February Wellness Newsletter from one of our school counselors, Ms. Kalec. This newsletter provides great resources in ENGLISH and SPANISH to support families in building connections, helping with healthy habits, and other parent resources. Reach out to Ms. Kalec with any questions at ekalec@wcpss.net.

🌿 Grounds Committee – Volunteers Needed
Many families may not realize that most campus maintenance is handled by volunteers, not Wake County. While WCPSS handles mowing and select projects, weeding, pruning, trash collection, mulch spreading, and other landscaping rely on our volunteers.
This sign-up allows you to pick a day and task that works for your schedule, with no need to coordinate outside of the signup. Even 15 minutes of help makes a big difference. This is also a great opportunity for students needing volunteer hours.
We ask volunteers to choose a task off the list or reach out to the PTA for other projects not listed.
