Before & After School Care at HSES

The Before & After School Programs at Holly Springs Elementary promise to be fun and exciting! We offer a safe, professional, and loving environment for your child to flourish.  Your child will have the opportunity to complete school work, draw, color, write, play games, have computer time, and outside play time.  They will also make great friends and improve their socialization and teamwork skills.

The students are divided into teams (usually by grade level) and are supervised by experienced Holly Springs staff.  We are staffed according to the number of students we serve.

Enrollment

If you would like to enroll your child(ren) in the After School Program, you must do so in person at Holly Springs Elementary school.  The Parent Information Packet can be found in the front office.  If you enroll your child(ren), be sure to complete ALL of the forms in the packet.  Registration fees must be paid in person at the time of enrollment.  All other payments can be made online. 

Inclement Weather Policy

Before school: The before-school program will be delayed by the same amount of time that the opening of school is delayed. If school is delayed one hour, the before-school program will open an hour late as well.

After school: If school closes early due to inclement weather, the After School program will not operate.  Parents are to pick up their children as soon as possible.

If Wake County cancels school due to inclement weather, the  Before and After School Programs will not operate.  The programs will operate on the make-up day(s) designated by the Board of Education.
