    Single Subject Acceleration

     
    Single Subject Acceleration (SSA) is an acceleration opportunity in either ELA or math available to currently enrolled and attending WCPSS students.  Testing for SSA for the 2026-27 school year will be available soon.  
     
    Parents/guardians must fill out the SSA Test Request Form in order for their child to test for SSA:

    Track 4 families have an opportunity to attend our final SSA informational meeting led by our AIG teacher, Julie Schmidt.  This meeting will be held virtually on Wed, January 28 at 6pm and can be accessed by clicking here.

    School Tours

    Prospective Ballentine families can join us for a school tour. There is no need to call ahead or sign up.

    Spelling Bee

    The 2025-26 Spelling Bee season is upon us. Spelling bee lists have been sent home with all students who chose to participate.  Each classroom will host their own bee to determine classroom winners.  Grade 4-5 classroom winners will participate in the schoolwide spelling bee, to be held on Friday, January 16th.   Thank you also to our super PTA for coordinating this fabulous event.  Happy studying! We look forward to being amazed by your spelling super powers!
