Morrisville Year Round Elementary School, located near North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park, has a strong commitment to providing rigorous innovative lessons for all students. Morrisville maintains its willingness to take risks in trying out initiatives that will improve student engagement.  Morrisville has built a collaborative culture where teachers plan weekly in their grade level Professional Learning Communities with a focus on creating lessons that include critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity.  Our teachers use data to drive instruction and provide students with feedback that will ensure growth.

Technology has greatly impacted the way teachers provide instruction and the ways students learn at Morrisville Elementary.  Teachers are intrigued by the possibilities of technology and constantly seek out digital resources to engage students in high-level learning tasks. Technology has provided students creative ways to collaborate and share their learning and allowed them to connect with learners around the world.
