Mrs. Margaret S. Feldman | Principal

Margaret Feldman is a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in journalism, Marymount University with a Masters in Education, and Western Carolina University with a Masters in School Administration. She has 29 years of experience as an educator. Mrs. Feldman worked in Washington, DC and Virginia before beginning her career in the Wake County Public School System. Prior to working at Dillard Drive Magnet Middle School, Mrs. Feldman worked at Wake Young Women’s Leadership Academy, Salem Middle School, and Williamsburg Middle School. She is currently an instructor at North Carolina State University. In her free time, Ms. Feldman enjoys traveling, running, and attending sporting events with her husband and two children, McKenzie and Ryan. She is honored to be the principal at Dillard Drive Magnet Middle School and is an advocate for all students. She is inspired by her colleagues and excited to work with such dedicated educators at Dillard Drive Magnet Middle School. She is very excited to meet each of you and get to know your families! At Dillard, we are creating global citizens.

Mr. Johnathan McConico |6th Grade Assistant Principal

Johnathan McConico received his Masters of School Administration Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his Administrative Internship at Daniels Middle School. Before becoming an Assistant Principal, Mr. McConico taught Middle Grades Mathematics and Middle Grades Social Studies at Warren County Middle School in the Warren County School System. In his free time, Mr. McConico enjoys spending time with his wife, fishing, and learning about the trades of interior and exterior maintenance, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance maintenance and repair. Mr. McConico is excited more than ever to inspire, engage, and encourage students to be the best they can be in and out of the classroom.

Mrs. Jan Mitchell | 8th Grade Assistant Principal

Jan Mitchell is originally from Maine but came to North Carolina to attend The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has taught in North Carolina, Massachusetts and Maine. This is her 26th year in education. Ms. Mitchell has taught grades 3-8, as well as students who are autistic. She completed her Masters of School Administration from North Carolina State University. In her free time, Ms. Mitchell loves to travel, be outdoors, and read. She is married and has two children, Sam and Zoe. She is passionate about social equity and is an advocate for all students.

Mrs. Olivia Bingman |Teacher Leader

Mrs. Olivia Bingman grew up as a Wake County native and is excited to continue growing as a Dillard Drive Magnet Middle School leader. She received her undergraduate degree in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Social Studies and Mathematics from East Carolina University. Mrs. Bingman is currently pursuing her Masters in School Administration through Appalachian State University while completing her administrative internship at Dillard Drive Magnet Middle School. Mrs. Bingman joined the Dillard family from Chatham County Schools where she taught three years of 8th-Grade Social Studies and two years of 8th-Grade Math and Math I at Margaret B. Pollard Middle School. In her free time, Mrs. Bingman enjoys cheering on the Mountaineers at Appalachian State football games in Boone, North Carolina, watching/playing volleyball, trying new recipes with her husband, and spending time with her three dogs, Luna, Winnie, and Athena. Mrs. Bingman is thrilled to be back at Dillard Drive Magnet Middle School and help grow our students into global citizens!

Ms. Britton Ellis | Instructional Facilitator

Britton Ellis attended The University of Alabama for undergraduate studies, majoring in Special Education (K-12.)  She returned to her home state following college and a few years later obtained a Master's Degree in Education from North Carolina State University with a concentration in Learning Disabilities.  She was in the classroom for 10 plus years as a Special Education Teacher (mainly in upper elementary grades.)  Ms. Ellis decided to pursue a Master's in School Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated after serving as a full-time administrative intern at Durant Road Middle School in May of 2023.  She is proud to call Dillard Drive home as she embarks as the Instructional Facilitator for the second year!  In her free time, Ms. Ellis enjoys spending time with family and friends while also staying active after school with Orangetheory workouts and outdoor runs around the hilly city of Raleigh!  She is excited to be a part of this amazing school community.  Roll Tide & Go Pack!
