Tours for the 2025-2026 school year will begin in October 2025 and continue until the magnet application process closes in January 2026.  In order to get the most out of your tour, please consider the following tips.

• We STRONGLY encourage you to bring your child with you.  Most children have an opinion about where they feel most comfortable, so it is important for them to feel good about their potential place of learning.  We intentionally offer times that accommodate most elementary school schedules, and we try our best to keep tours to 1 hour.   It is also worth noting that we do not offer tours after the magnet application deadline; if your child is accepted, there will be opportunities in the Spring to come and see part of the building during schoolwide events, but there will not be additional chances to do a full building tour. 
• Plan to arrive near campus 5-10 minutes before the tour begins.  The school parking lot will likely be full, so you will need time to find a parking space nearby and walk to the building.  (However, don't arrive too early, as staff will be busy assisting students during arrival (7:05-7:30), and traffic around the school will be heavy during that time.)  
• It is okay to bring younger siblings and/or grandparents.
• When you arrive, find the QR code on the entrance door, scan it, and complete it.  This is the standard sign-in procedure when visiting a WCPSS campus. When you are admitted into the lobby, the Magnet Coordinator will greet you.  
• We begin tours promptly at the assigned time, because we want to honor everyone's time!  If you arrive late, please ring the doorbell, and a staff member will assist you.
