Before and After School Care

After School

At YMCA After School, kids expand their learning beyond the classroom. We use a balanced curriculum that supports learning through active play and a focus on character development and social-emotional learning. We also offer a quiet space and support for students to work on their homework Monday through Thursday afternoons.

During the week, students will participate in a variety of enrichment activities with opportunities for skill development, physical activity and fun.

After School is held from school dismissal until 6 p.m. 

Before School

The YMCA Before School program is also held at this school. This program starts at 7 a.m. and dismisses at the first bell. Kids can eat breakfast from the school cafeteria, work on homework or simply relax and enjoy quiet time with their friends. 

Cost and Registration

The YMCA offers two different ways to register for Before School and After School – by the year or by the week.

When you register by the year, you register one time and your monthly payments are even throughout the year. Yearly After School is offered as 2, 3 or 5-days per week.

Parents may also register for After School by the week and then only register for the days and weeks they need care. Weekly After School may be offered as 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5-days per week.

The YMCA charges a $10 late fee on Monday for that week’s registration.
