I am truly honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Lockhart Elementary School. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to join such a strong and caring community, and I look forward to getting to know each of you as we begin this new chapter together.

As I begin this journey, I want you to know how important it is to me to honor the traditions and activities that make Lockhart such a special place. The events, celebrations, and connections built over time are a vital part of our school’s identity. I am committed to continuing those meaningful experiences that our students and families cherish.

At the same time, I am excited to build upon that foundation by creating additional opportunities for family engagement. I believe that when schools and families work together, students thrive. My goal is to ensure that every family feels:

• Welcomed and valued in our school community.

• Connected through workshops, family nights, and academic events.

• Informed and involved in their child’s daily educational journey.

With 28 years in education and a background rooted in early childhood and elementary learning, I am passionate about creating an environment where every child feels supported, challenged, and inspired to succeed.

On a personal note, I am a proud mom of two amazing young adults, Kyle (22) and Mia (20). They are my daily reminder of why this work matters. I believe every child deserves a school where they feel safe, celebrated, and supported—and that is exactly what I am committed to building here at Lockhart.

Most importantly, I want Lockhart to be a place where you always feel invited to participate. My door is open, and I am eager to partner with you to strengthen our school community.
