Ms. Ahart has worked in the Wake County Public School System for 12 years and has been an educator for 25 years in North Carolina Public Schools.

She has taught kindergarten, 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade math and served as a math interventionist. She attended SUNY Potsdam for her undergraduate degree, completed her administrative internship at Morehead Montessori with Durham Public Schools while attending North Carolina Central University (Eagles Up!) for her Masters in School Administration. She was honored to be a member of the Principal Fellows Class 13.

Ms. Ahart served as the Assistant Principal of Zebulon Elementary from August 2012 to June of 2024.

Ms. Ahart is dedicated to ensuring the daily experience for every student is safe, engaging and meets their individual needs. She works to ensure that the staff and student body are seen, challenged, engaged and known. When Ms. Ahart is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking and reading.
