Chorus

Pleasant Union's Chorus is open to any 4th or 5th grader who is interested in singing and performing. There is no audition for this group. However, you must possess a willingness to learn many types of music, do some choreography, and commit to before school rehearsals once a week (when you are tracked in). During the school year, we usually sing at least once in the community, and several times at school.

Our group also auditions each year for a county-wide performance at Memorial Auditorium called Pieces of Gold. It is quite an honor to be selected for this show, which spotlights the Arts in Wake County. Our singers have been in it several times.  This show requires extra time for rehearsals and is hard work. Ask any student who has been in the performance and they will tell you that the work was worth it!
