Ms. Kira Hamilton
Kira Hamilton is the Academically Gifted (AIG) teacher at Penny Road Elementary. She works with students to enrich their experiences at school. Kira graduated from Campbell University in 2007 with a B.S. in Elementary Education and in 2011 with a Masters of Education/Academically Gifted degree. She has teaching experience in the 4th and 5th grade classroom and the Academically Gifted program. A fun fact about Kira is that she has lived on three different continents (Europe, S. America, and N. America) due to her father’s job with the NAVY. She enjoys traveling with family and friends, reading, cooking, crafting and spending time outside when she is not at school. Kira lives in Raleigh, NC.
