Hi! My name is Dawn Wood and I am an instructional assistant in First Grade.
I grew up in Missouri and moved to Raleigh in 1989 where I met my husband, Scott (a former ECU Pirate). I was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom for many years with our two daughters, Alyssa (20) and Caitlin (15). We enjoy cheering on the Pirates together whenever possible.
I am a very adventerous person! I enjoy hanging out with family and friends in the great outdoors - from the mountains to the ocean. We love to hike, explore, paddleboard, and play in the ocean waves. I love sports, both watching and playing. In my down time, I enjoy games, puzzles, reading and listening to music. I look forward to working with your family to help your children thrive in their environment, and to learn and grow to be caring and productive citizens!
