At Carpenter, we have several families that take advantage of the proximity of our school to their neighborhood and have their students walk from school. At dismissal time, students will meet Mr. Hann in the cafeteria. Mr. Hann will then wait for parents outside the cafeteria near the bus loop with the students who will walk home. ALL students in Kindergarten and 1st grade MUST be accompanied by an adult OR have a signed waiver stating that an older sibling (2nd-5th grade) may walk them home.
If you are meeting your student outside the cafeteria, please arrive no later than 3:55 to ensure all students are safely escorted.
