Hi! My name is Julia Trotto. I love teaching preschool at Fuquay-Varina Elementary School! Teaching preschool allows me to help children develop their social-emotional skills, early learning foundational skills, communication skills, and more! 

I attended Buffalo State College and earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education (PreK-6) with a concentration in Exceptional Education. I earned a master's degree in Childhood Literacy from St. Bonaventure University. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Childhood Literacy (3-11yrs). I have been trained in Social Emotional Foundations of Early Learning (SEFEL) and Conscious Discipline, I apply strategies and skills from both Conscious Discipline and SEFEL in my preschool classroom. 

 

Some of my favorite things include: spending time with my family, doing art projects, taking naps, going outside, photography, reading, and telling jokes!
