Ways for Students to Get Involved

    • Art Club
      Students in grades 3-5 are invited to participate in Art Club. The club meets once a week for 35-45 minutes for approximately 8 weeks in the fall and spring. Fridays in the fall and Mondays in the afternoons. For more information, contact Ms. Bennett at jbennett5@wcpss.net.   

    • Bead Club
      Students Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade are invited to join Beading Club, which meets weekly for five weeks in the fall and spring. Students make bracelets and key chains. For more information, please contact Ms. Anderson at randerson2@wcpss.net.  

    • Run Club
      Students in grades 3-5 are invited to participate in the NFP Run Club- The Falcon Flyers.  The Falcon Flyers meet once or twice a week during the school year with Coach Gerdes. There will be a 5K Run that takes place on campus at the end of the school year that run-club members can participate in. For more information, contact Coach Gerdes at rgerdes@wcpss.net.   

    • Safety Patrol
      Safety Patrol is for 5th grade students that are good role models for other students. The Safety Patrol students help with the flags in front of our building and assist during arrival and dismissal in the hall, at carpool and at the buses.     • World Music Club
      Students in grades 3-5 are invited to participate in World Music Club. The club meets once a week from 2:15-2:40 PM throughout the fall and spring. World Music Club meets on Wednesday with Mrs. Page.  We use percussion instruments from around the world, like claves, djembes, maracas, shekere, steel drums, etc. The goal of this club is to acquaint students with proper instrument technique, be inspired by various cultures around the globe, and learn to play several pieces of musical repertoire. In late May families are invited to a club showcase that includes a World Music concert. For more information, contact Ms. Page at mlpage@wcpss.net.
