    • Chris Hahner, a third grade teacher, was named as a finalist for Wake County Public School System’s Teacher of the Year
    • A Fifth Grade student was recognized as a Wake County Public School System’s ‘Spotlight on Students’ recipient for demonstrating persistence and motivation in the face of adversity.
    • Students were recognized for participation and excellence in Science Olympiad and Scholastic Pursuit.

    • Our German teacher received nomination for the National American Association of Teachers of German award
    • Diane Owens Jones, a first grade teacher, was named as a finalist for the district’s distinction as Teacher of the Year
