I am thrilled to be joining the JGMES team as the Magnet Coordinator! The JG community is dear to my heart as my three sons have soared here as Eagles and I have had the pleasure to serve as the Cultural Arts Representative on the PTA. I have lived in 9 states, but am thankful to call Raleigh my home. After a serendipitous meeting in high school at Chick-fil-a (where I took his order) I married my  high school sweetheart and we are enjoying the adventure of raising our three boys. A proud two time Tar-Heel, I hold a B.A. in Spanish and a Masters of Arts in Teaching. My love for Spanish blossomed after studying in Seville, Spain and ignIted a passion that lead me to the classroom. For over a decade, I have taught Spanish in both public and independent schools and even expanded my hat to entrepreneur at a time, starting The Spanish Corner, a total-immersion language learning program for kids and their caregivers. What a joy it will be to work together to  bring out the BEST AT THE NEST!
