Welcome to the Rocket family! I am Nichole Wangelin and I teach Cross Curriculum Resource (CCR).  I have a bachelor's in Special Education and Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University.  This school year marks my 16^th year in education. During my teaching career, I have taught in a variety of classroom settings including 2nd and 3rd grade, resource , and in an elementary behavioral classroom. 

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, and I am a diehard Pittsburgh fan- Steelers, Pens, Pitt, and Pirates! I moved to North Carolina in 2006 where I met my husband. We have three amazing kids. We are also parents to an American Bully named Bella and two cats, Gunner and Odie. When I have free time,  I love to cook and bake, shop (in stores), Cricut, and travel. I am looking forward to this school year.
