Hello Rockets! I am one of the school counselors and I am so excited to work with your child. Hailing from Portland, Oregon I graduated from George Fox University with a Masters in School Counseling and recently moved in 2021 to Fuquay-Varina. I have had experience in Special Education, co-taught music classes and even international teaching experiences! Before coming to FVES, I worked at both the elementary and high school levels as one of their counselors and most recently was a school counselor at Holly Springs High School. I currently live with my husband and our two dogs, Jade and Ruby. We love to go hiking in the mountains, reading and spending time with friends at local restaurants. You may even see me singing in the Fuquay-Varina Chorale! My passion for wellness is a driving force, especially in talking with both students and parents on helping their children be the most successful, both in and out of the classroom. I am thrilled to continue my career in this community and look forward to a great year!
