I love teaching 2nd grade and working here at NFP! This is my 14th year teaching. I grew up in New York and went to college at SUNY Geneseo. I taught second and third grade in Las Vegas before moving to Raleigh. I am married to Coach Gerdes, our PE teacher, and we have 2 teenage daughters named Jordyn and Madison. In my free time, you can find me playing with our adorable and spunky dog named Mollie. I also love to go hiking, cook, and read. I am looking forward to a great year and can't wait to get to know the students and families!
