Hello! My name is Ashton Smith and this will be my 3^rd school year at North Forest Pines. I am so excited to be your child's teacher. I am from Raleigh and attended Wakefield for elementary, middle and high school. I graduated from East Carolina University with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (K-6) and am currently in graduate school to complete my Masters in Reading and Literacy at East Carolina (GO PIRATES!). It is my biggest wish that all children are aware of the light within them, which is why I have a deep passion for working with tiny minds. Helping all children progress academically, socially and emotionally is something I feel truly honored to do. I strive to create a classroom community of eager learners that nurtures their growth in a fun, positive environment. I am so excited to love, serve, challenge and lead your child in the 24-25 school year.
