• At ZGTMMS: Center for Advanced Studies and STEM, we believe in building and deepening authentic connections with all stakeholders throughout our community.  We have enjoyed opportunities to engage, collaborate, and support our community through various endeavors.

Over the years, we have partnered with local small businesses and organizations to offer support to our community and enhance student experiences. Students engage in real world scenarios and career learning excursions throughout the eastern area.  Guest speakers visit classrooms frequently to further draw connections between student's gifts and talents and the real world need for design thinking and STEM mindsets.

During our annual “Meet the Needs November” food drive, we  collect nonperishable goods which are donated to local food pantries that directly impact our community. We also host an annual blanket drive to deliver blankets to those in need at local nursing home facilities during the holiday season.  For families in the Eastern Area who wish to explore their early college and magnet high school options, we offer an annual Eastern Area Early College and Magnet High School Information Session.  These endeavors would not be possible without partnerships from local businesses and valued stakeholders.

In addition, we work closely with Zebulon government entities and officials to promote greater partnerships with local businesses that directly support student success.  Through our wide variety of engaging and relevant career and technical education elective courses, we hope to draw real world connections for students about their future's endless possibilities.
