I graduated from ECU in 2014 and have been teaching since the 2014-15 school year! I taught Kindergarten for my first 8 years in education, and since then, have branched out into a more schoolwide student and staff support role. This year, I serve as an Intervention Team Facilitator, a multi-grade level interventionist, and a Kindergarten grade level coach and support staff. Over the years, I have served on and led/co-led multiple staff committees related to school improvement, instructional practices, digital learning, and MTSS. I am an advocate for the youngest of learners and have presented on school, district, and state levels about innovative ways to engage Kindergarteners in the classroom and empower them as learners and leaders.
