About: Hello! My name is Myia Davis. I live in Cary, North Carolina. I am originally from Portland, Oregon, but I have lived in North Carolina for fifteen years. I have a son that graduated from Cary High School and is now in the Navy. My hobbies include traveling and cooking different types of cuisine. This will be my ninth year in education, and I am proud to say, I started my teaching journey right here at Washington Elementary. My mission statement as an educator, is to teach the whole child. I aspire to support all learners academically as well as socially and emotionally.
