    AIG Program Nominations

    Holly Grove Elementary School accepts nominations for the Academically & Intellectually Gifted (AIG) Program all year long.
    Spring testing is available for students in grades 3–5.

    If you would like to nominate your child for AIG consideration, please review the deadlines and testing windows below.

    Test Request Deadlines

    All nominations must be submitted by the end of the day on December 19, 2025 for all tracks.

    Nominations submitted after this date will be considered for Fall 2026 testing.

    Spring 2026 Testing Windows

    Students will be tested during the following dates:

    • Track 1: January 5–16

    • Track 2: January 5–16

    • Track 3: January 5–16

    • Track 4: February 2–13

    No test requests will be accepted during these testing periods.

    Who May Be Nominated?

    Teachers or parents may nominate high-achieving students in grades 3–5 who meet any of the following criteria:

    • A) Students identified in only one subject area

    • B) Students not currently identified AIG in any area

    • C) Students who were not tested for AIG in Fall 2025

    • D) New students to Wake County Public Schools
