Holly Grove Elementary Garden is a vibrant community initiative led by dedicated teachers Mrs. Russell, Mrs. Baker, and Ms. Focazio, engaging third through fifth grade students. Together, we cultivate an edible school garden, nurturing a variety of fruits and vegetables to support the Holly Springs Food Cupboard. We keep detailed records of our produce, having grown over 100 pounds last year. Our goal for 2024 is to triple that amount, contributing even more to our community. While our garden operates year-round, our meetings are sporadic from December to February, aligning with the winter season's reduced gardening tasks. Join us on Tuesday mornings to sow the seeds of sustainability and community care!
